DATS 24 live with Moveyou Insights

DATS 24 was brought from Colruyt Group into Virya Energy, a group focused on the energy sector. This organisational transition created the need to move away from legacy systems and integrate DATS 24 into a new operational environment.

At the same time, DATS 24 wanted to combine fuel and energy services within one central system. The goal was to create a future-proof foundation for its mobility operation, supporting both existing customers and new propositions across fuel, EV charging, cards, transactions and financial processes.

To support this transition, Moveyou implemented its Insights and Petrol Manager platforms, the EFAS card-issuing host and its EV proposition, combined with a large number of custom integrations.

This is why a multi-modal solution was chosen with Moveyou: one integrated platform that gives both existing and new customers access to DATS 24’s current and future mobility and energy services.

The go-live marks an important milestone in the cooperation between DATS 24 and Moveyou. It also reflects a broader shift in the European mobility market. Fuel retailers are no longer operating in a market built around fuel alone. Mobility services are becoming more connected, more digital and more data-driven. Fuel, EV charging, payments, cards, customer management and invoicing increasingly need to work together as one.

With Moveyou, DATS 24 offers customers a faster and more intuitive way to fuel or charge without using a physical card.
In the DATS 24 app, Moveyou supports the full mobile payment journey. From onboarding and customer validation to station selection, authorisation, pump release, transaction processing and real-time insights. The customer is known, rights and eligibility are checked, and every fuel or EV charging session is correctly registered.

For the Colruyt Xtra app, Moveyou powers the operational layer behind the scenes, including pump release and accurate transaction registration.

This creates a smoother customer journey, gives DATS 24 stronger insight into customer behaviour and transactions, and makes mobile payments a scalable part of the fuel and EV charging experience.

DATS 24 operates in a mobility landscape where fuel, electric charging and related services are increasingly connected. Behind the scenes, this requires strong operational control over customer data, card issuing, transactions, credit management, reporting and financial workflows.

With Moveyou Insights, DATS 24 now has a central environment to support several core processes within its mobility operation, including fuel and EV card issuing, customer onboarding, KYC, stock management, credit management, toll processing, Smart Reporting, transaction authorisation, transaction processing and invoicing.

By bringing these processes together, DATS 24 gains more control over operational workflows that are often managed across separate systems. This supports more efficient handling of transactions, reporting and administration, while creating a scalable foundation for future mobility services.
