Software Developer
MoveYou is a mobility platform that digitally connects almost all forms of transport, including gas stations, parking providers, charging points for electric vehicles, and various public transport options. Our mission is to encourage people to travel more sustainably without compromising on comfort, while promoting a greener and more environmentally friendly future. Our technology simplifies switching from one mode of transport to another, with access and payment centralized through the MoveYou platform.
As a Developer, you will work with a variety of technologies on different tasks. You will be part of a team operating in an agile development environment, working on everything from CRUD operations to API implementations with GraphQL. Your work may involve collaborating on larger, sometimes international, projects or providing support for smaller service tickets and feature requests.
What will you do?
- Developing user-friendly and high-performance applications and apps.
- Testing and debugging applications to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Collaborating with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces.
- Documenting the software you develop.
- Supporting the implementation of new features and updates.
- Actively participating in product planning and defining technical specifications.
- Ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of the (mobile) applications.
- Regularly communicating with stakeholders to gather feedback and implement updates.
What we ask for
- Completed education at MBO or HBO level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of and experience with programming languages such as PHP, Java, Laravel, Symfony, and GraphQL. Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
- Familiarity with GitHub and Jira.
- Willingness to quickly learn new technologies and development methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and learn from experienced developers.
- Driven to strive for continuous improvement.
