Sales Advisor & Project Manager (Shared) Mobility

GoAbout is a young provider of shared mobility services and is part of the Moveyou group, a consortium of green and innovative mobility service providers. Together, we have the ambition to build the largest and most innovative mobility platform in Europe and contribute to the sustainability of mobility.

GoAbout focuses on shared mobility and already has shared bicycles and electric cars in dozens of locations in the Netherlands, sometimes in a closed pool for employers and sometimes as an open service for any consumer. In addition, GoAbout is currently conducting small-scale pilots in the areas of multimodal route planners, resale of public transport services, and information screens for mobility service providers.

We are looking for a Commercial Unit Manager responsible for the growth of GoAbout.

Shared Mobility

About the Role:

To expand our team, we are looking for a Sales Advisor & Project Manager. As a Sales Advisor/Project Manager, you will be part of our label Go About, which is experiencing strong growth. This means that this role is versatile; on a typical day, you start with a call with a large corporate client seeking advice on how to further encourage their staff to utilize their bike-sharing program. Then, you might visit a municipality for a commercial discussion about deploying shared cars. At the end of the workday, you have a meeting at the office with the customer service team manager and the head of administration to address inquiries received during the week regarding billing and payments. You will oversee maintenance rounds (carried out by local bike mechanics), engage with customers, and essentially be THE person when it comes to shared mobility. This is something you thrive on; you even find it exciting to build it up from scratch.

The tasks in brief:

  • Customer contact, in various forms; both with existing customers and sales leads.
  • Developing sales materials, policies, and procedures; as a startup, we don’t have many yet.
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure our customers get everything they need.
  • Maintaining and expanding hubs.
  • Making Go About analytical; it’s all about the numbers…
  • Relationship management; from quotes to contract negotiations and aftercare.
  • Tenders & research.

Our expectations:

  • HBO level;
  • Available for a minimum of 32-40 hours;
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills;
  • Proactive, not one to sit still;
  • Preferably someone with experience in automotive or shared mobility;
  • Proficient in both verbal and written Dutch and English;
  • Skilled in setting priorities;
  • Capable of handling both business and private clients;
  • Interest in mobile apps and consumer technology.
