PHP (Laravel) Developer
Moveyou is a mobility platform that digitally connects nearly all forms of transportation, including gas stations, parking providers, electric vehicle charging points, and various public transportation options. Our mission is to encourage people to travel more sustainably without compromising on comfort, while promoting a greener and more environmentally friendly future.
At Moveyou, we believe that people will increasingly travel in a multimodal manner, utilizing various forms of transportation for different parts of their journeys. With our technology, we make it easy to transition from one mode of transport to another, with access and payment all centralized through the Moveyou platform.
We are looking for candidates who are Dutch-speaking and able to come to the office in the beautiful Frisian town of Franeker.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions;
- Work on innovative solutions within a Scrum team;
- Collaborate with your team on applications based on the Laravel framework;
- Work with GraphQL, microservices, and events;
- Operate in an Agile/Scrum team;
- Share and expand your knowledge through brainstorming sessions with colleagues;
- Learn: we don’t expect you to know everything, but we do expect curiosity and the drive to acquire the right knowledge.
What we ask for
- At least a higher education (HBO) level of thinking and working;
- Extensive knowledge of the Laravel framework;
- Strong experience with PHP/MySQL/Event Sauce;
- Experience with Git is a must;
- Familiarity with Slack and Jira;
- A willingness to learn and a desire to share knowledge with your colleagues;
- Proficiency in both English and Dutch;
- A driver’s license is not mandatory, but a passion for mobility or our target audience is definitely a plus.
